This is a really unique piece from 1904. The print is framed in glass and surrounded by additional artwork on what I believe is birch bark based on the copyright. There were a series of these made by G.H. Allen copywrited under Birch Bark in 1902. This print references a line in the Song of Hiawatha.
There is a corner slightly damaged and a few small tears on the frame, but they it almost seems to blend into the design. The back had a cardboard support to display like a photo. It has damage and likely will not hold. It stands nicely leaning on something or could be put upon an easle.
